ACIS Senior Lecturer awarded prestigious Oxford exchange

The Acting Deputy Vice-Chancellor, University of Canterbury, and the University of Oxford has awarded Annick Masselot, Senior Lecturer in Law from the Accounting & Information Systems an Oxford/Canterbury Academic Exchange Fellowship for 2013.
During her time at Oxford, Annick will concentrate on the final writing of her book on European Union Law and care duties for which she has signed a book contract with Routledge publishing. Annick will be based at the Institute of European and Comparative law at the University of Oxford, this will allow her an opportunity to interact with a number of top researchers as well as some of the member of the law faculty such as Professor Sandra Fredman who is engaged in EU social policy and law and Human rights studies.
In addition, Annick intends to collect teaching materials on European Union law for her LAWS355 and ACCT656/EURO456 courses. She has offered to provide lectures and seminars in the area of European Union law, especially in the area of social policy, whilst she is at Oxford.
