CIMA Global Business Challenge

UC business students experience being business leaders by participating in the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) Global Business Challenge. This business competition is a great opportunity for students to connect with employers and pioneers in the global business world.

The Competition

The CIMA Global Business Challenge is an international business competition for undergraduates around the world, designed to bring out the best in the young business leaders of tomorrow.

The challenge involves several stages. First, teams of four are given a case study and have to submit a written report. The best three teams proceed onto the national final where they have a 20-minute presentation. The winning team from New Zealand then continues on to the final for the global champion title.
